Eat that frog with a Pomodoro

Pomodoro basically is a famous technique used to deal with procrastination and to develop a habit of getting things done on time by using a time-management strategy. Procrastination is our big hindrance towards success and it inhibits us from working with full potential and it became our habit to start work right before the deadline.

In short “The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method that uses a time to break down the work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks.”

Eat that Frog with a Pomodoro is an experiment that I have conducted for experiencing the result from the Pomodoro technique and the Frog here symbolizes the distractions that create hindrance in our way to accomplish a certain task within time. We can eat that frog with Pomodoro and a tomato, which means by using the timer and keenly focusing on our task, we can manage the time and to overcome hurdles, and get rid of those distractions.

Eat the Frog with the Pomodoro technique is really helpful for those people who can’t able to complete their tasks before the deadline. This technique has the following steps:

1. Decide on the task to be done.

2. Set the Pomodoro timer (alarm) to 25 minutes.

3. Work on the task until the timer rings. (If a distraction pops into your head, write it down, but immediately get back on the task.)

4. After the timer tings, put a star on a piece of paper.

5. Take a short 3–5 minute break. (Repeat steps 1–4)

6. After you have 4 ticks on your paper, you can take a longer break (15–20 minutes), and continue working on your task by going to step 1 until you complete your task.

This quote is absolutely right as time doesn't wait for you ever and when it passed it never comes back and then only regret becomes your destiny. So be wise and utilize your time in a proper way to be successful in your life.

I used this technique to complete my office work. So, I assigned myself to complete my all office work by setting alarm exact after 25 minutes. I started, and keep continuing my work for 10 minutes, after 10 minutes my mobile rang and it’s an urgent call from my friend who needs some help from my side about the project. Then I spent 15 minutes on call and back to complete my task and exactly after 5 minutes, my client called me and I used my 10 minutes more. after this, I realized I have a shortage of time Then I calm myself and overcome my situation and start my work again, and exactly after 2 stars I completed my work in 50 minutes.

then I realized that I can manage my time and overcome all the hurdles by using this amazing technique. I actually like this Pomodoro technique, it was actually a productive and easy way to do anything or task.
