Positive Reflection is a simple way that we learn from an experience in order to understand and develop practice. It is a part of learning and thinking. Thinking about how to do a thing in a better way. We reflect in order to learn something, or we learn as a result of reflecting. It is about the input and output of learning. We input positive ingredients than obviously output will be a peaceful, clear, and positive material. It gives us lessons from experiences; like in a situation how we should respond. Or if we are doing something then in which way we can do it in a better way.

We are all learners, at any and every stage and role in life. We need to learn as students, learn as parents, learn as employees. The list goes on forever. One important thing is that reflection is the most important part of the learning process, and whatever is not reflected is usually not learned and retained. The only way for us to grow and improve is to take a good look at what’s working and what’s not for us.

“We do not learn from experience, we learn from reflecting on experience.”

At least once a day, and more often several times a day, I reflect and journal on my day, on my life, on what I’ve been doing right, and what isn’t working. I reflect on every aspect of my life, and from this habit of reflection, I am able to continuously improve. Oftentimes, I learn much more about myself unexpectedly, because I believe that deep reflections really empowers us to gain self-awareness and to improve and become better humans.

Benefits of Positive Reflection

Reflection can give us great benefits from which we can easily build ourselves in better ways, Such as:

  1. It helps us learn from our mistakes.
  2. It gives us great ideas.
  3. It helps us to help others.
  4. It makes us happier.
  5. It gives us perspective.
  6. It helps us understand ourselves better

‘’A Beautiful journey With AMAL FELLOWSHIP”

I joined Amal Fellowship Program (A Stanford University and PepsiCo-supported 3-month online program to develop professional skills). I heard a lot about this fellowship and I decided to apply to this program and then I applied and got selected in this program. it was really amazing for me. The whole fellowship was full of learning, Online Weekend Sessions, Online activities, Project Work, Courses, etc.

My life before Amal Career Fellowship was so confused, less focused, less specific, less oriented, and with undefined goals. I am a graduate student but I had no experience of professional life. In every activity of this fellowship, I learned new things A lot of that is learned are following,

  1. Knowing myself.
  2. Come out from Comfortzone.
  3. Enhance my self-confidence
  4. Personal development and growth.
  5. Learned about Resume and Cover Letter.
  6. Learned about positive behavior

I am Grateful to the Amal Academy who provided the platform where I learned many skills and gain improvement in myself. Now I am a more confident person in my life. I hope, One day I’ll be a strong person in my life. Proud to be a part of the Amal Family.
